ILBA Superlight: Precision and Stealth in Shallow Water
Unlike standard models, the ILBA Superlight features an extremely tapered body, stripped down to the bare essentials to minimize weight.
Despite its lightness, the aerodynamic design ensures extremely precise casting, making it the ideal ally even in tight spaces and through thick vegetation. This lure shines particularly when water is scarce: thanks to its technical structure, it is among the best performing lures for shallow flats or streams during the summer dry season.
Advantages in just a few centimeters of water: immediate rotation. In situations where the lure risks hitting the bottom, kicking up debris or spooking fish, the Superlight starts rotating instantly. This allows you to start retrieving it as soon as it touches the surface, keeping it in the upper water band.
Unlike "long-cast" or weighted models, it does not sink quickly. This feature allows for a slow, controlled retrieve even in just 10-20 cm of depth. Fish are extremely wary in shallow water. The Superleggero's entry into the water is silent and produces very little splashing. Its "subtle" vibrations stimulate attack without being invasive, preventing even the most wary trout from running away.
