New spinners SpinEye ILBA, the test by Pierdomenico Salotti

This year, I had the opportunity to preview some products I'm very fond of, a brand I've been using for many years, both for recreational fishing and in competitions.

These are the new ILBA spinners, specifically the "SpinEye," for which I was entrusted with the entire range of colors in various weights. At first glance, I really liked them for their simple yet eye-catching design, but I had to try them out for fishing.

Their simplicity proved very attractive to the fish, thanks to their silver-based fluorescent colors of yellow, orange, purple, green, and red. There were plenty of catches, but what surprised me most were the very decisive attacks, thanks to the fact that the version I tested was equipped with a treble hook with two bright red beads on the shank, simulating fish eggs.

The silver lip with its fluorescent color and the egg-like effects certainly increased the lure's visibility and, consequently, triggered more aggressive attacks.

As for the movement, this new graphic was created on a classic ILBA Tondo, a spinner I've been using for many years in various colors and sizes. It's very effective even at slow retrieve speeds, allowing you to stay in the desired fishing spot longer.

Conclusion: the color that was missing, and which I personally believe you can no longer do without, has proven to be simple yet highly effective and attractive.
